🔍 When is it ripe?
Small, silvery-speckled red berries in clusters. Ripe when deep red and slightly soft; tart-sweet flavour. Very high in lycopene. Good for jam; note this is an invasive species in North America.
A small (~5 foot/1.5 meter) bush of very plump, but sparse Autumn-olive fruit in an easy to access location-easily reached without leaving the main trail.
