🔍 When is it ripe?
Dense clusters of vivid orange berries, intensely sour. Ripe when bright orange and yields to gentle pressure. High in vitamins C, E, and omega-7. Harvest by cutting entire branches and freezing, then shaking frozen berries loose.
Useampi tyrnipensas. Ympäröivien taloyhtiöiden "yksityisellä" yhteispihalla, mutta aivan kävelytien varrella. Helppo tulla poimimaan vaikkei olisikaan asukas, eivät marjat ole koskaan kesken loppuneet. :)
Several sea-buckthorn bushes. On a "private" yard shared by the surrounding apartment complexes, but right next to a public walk. Easy to come and pick some even if you're not a resident, and it's not like the berries have ever run out. :)
