🔍 When is it ripe?
Skin turns from pale orange to deep red; fruit becomes angular and the blossom end flattens slightly as arils expand. Tap the skin — a ripe pomegranate sounds metallic. Heavy for its size. A slight crack at the shoulder is fine. Do not wait for it to fall.
Branches of a pomegranate tree sticking over the wall, it's behind the bus stop, so not easily spotted unless you know it's there. The birds come for it real fast though so good luck, but if you get one theyre delicious^^
