🔍 When is it ripe?
Deep red to purple-black when fully ripe. Falls naturally. Tart-sweet flavour. Spread cloth below and shake. Stains permanently.
Large very well producing Mulberry tree overhanging handicap parking space in the parking area near the boat launch. Seems as though the fruit are never picked as many ripe berries were on the pavement. Source is in state park, so if traveling by motor vehicle an annual or daily use park pass will need to be purchased.
