Ripe when fully coloured (white, red, or black by species) and falls at a touch. Spread a sheet and shake the branches. Extremely perishable — process or eat immediately.
Two trees at the corner of the parking lot where fence opens up to Ottawa St. A fair yield. Ripe early-mid July. One white/pink mulberry tree with larger fruit. The other is smaller black mulberries.
