🔍 When is it ripe?
Small, very hard, yellow-green fruit. Too tart and astringent raw but fragrant and good for jelly or flavouring liqueur. Ripe when yellow and strongly scented.
Large bush in yard along sidewalk, laden with small quince in Fall. Good for making quince jelly.
