🔍 When is it ripe?
Pick when background colour shifts from green to yellow-green and the stem separates cleanly. Finish ripening indoors — flesh near the stem should give slightly when pressed.
Pear located in/next to clearing near fallen tree, some branches pick-able from the ground without tools. Mock strawberry is all around on ground nearby. Strawberries showing as of 7/7/17, pears unripe as this time.
