🔍 When is it ripe?
Must be fully ripe (very soft, almost jelly-like) before eating. Harvest after first frost or when naturally falling. Dark orange to purple when ready. Rich, caramel-sweet flavour.
3-4 fruiting persimmon trees
Behind the library, next to a public walking path. easy to get to. i like to eat from them during fall semester in between classes. they're bitter until very late in the season.
