There's a little creek thing here, and in the spring time (usually late March, early April) wild onion grows there. The flowers are white, and the plant is very green. The onion is sweet, and has a spicy after flavor. The greens of the plant are more plentiful than the root, but you can eat the whole thing, flowers and all.
