Very pretty tree. While it's very flavorful to chew the needles, you can find recipes over the internet anywhere from tea to sugared leaves to cookies. Honestly the recipes for spruce can likely be applied to this tree too. Honestly it tastes better than the spruce - more like a christmas tree, so not all recipes might transfer and there might be some recipes specifically for redwood that a spruce wouldn't have. However, in general they should apply to each other.
