🔍 When is it ripe?
Clusters of bright red-orange, mealy berries. Edible but very dry and starchy raw — best dried or ground into flour. Ripe when uniformly red-orange.
There are a couple trees in front of the library, but I wouldn't worry about asking their permission. The yield is so light you shouldn't take more than one or two anyhow.
