🔍 When is it ripe?
Dense clusters of orange or red berries. Edible but very seedy and mealy; best cooked into jelly. Ripe when fully coloured. Shrub has sharp spines — wear gloves.
Yellow firethorn covered in berries in May and early June. 6th carspace from corner in last row of car park.
