🔍 When is it ripe?
Must be fully ripe (very soft, almost jelly-like) before eating. Harvest after first frost or when naturally falling. Dark orange to purple when ready. Rich, caramel-sweet flavour.
There are 3 overhanging persimmon trees. Across the road from the nature preserve entrance. If your back is turned to the road, they'll be on the right side if you're centered on the nature preserve entrance.
