🔍 When is it ripe?
Purple varieties: skin wrinkles and turns deep purple. Yellow varieties: fully yellow and slightly heavy. Both are ripe when they fall freely. Wrinkled skin indicates riper, more aromatic flesh — not deterioration.
Passionflower vine overhanging sidewalk on the east side of duval, about 200 ft or so from 38th st. Large vine may not be there for long. Half of it was torn down by construction on the houses.
