🔍 When is it ripe?
Background colour changes from green to yellow or cream (variety determines final colour). Seeds inside should be brown. Flesh yields slightly to thumb pressure. A ripe apple releases with a gentle upward twist — no pulling. Check the ground for natural drops.
A few wild apple trees next to the road. You have to enter the 'wild' to notice.
I discovered these 'accidentally' on my way to pic some mushrooms. If you continue up to the hill, you can pic various types of them.
