🔍 When is it ripe?
Small, round, turning from red to deep purple-black. Sweet and blueberry-like when fully dark. Birds eat them as soon as they ripen — check daily. Best fresh or in pies and jam.
Two serviceberry trees planted by the city. Young trees, less than 10ft tall in 2020. Ripened early June, all the fruit we gone by late June
