🔍 When is it ripe?
Deep red and glossy; stem pulls cleanly. Taste is the best test — sweet and juicy when ripe, still astringent if picked too early.
Several cherry trees have ripe fruit around the first week of June. Delicious!! Dark red ones were tastiest; one tree has the yellowish cherries with a pink blush color.
