🔍 When is it ripe?
Non-astringent types: eat when orange and firm. Astringent types: wait until very soft and wrinkled. Both fully orange when ripe.
Multiple persimmon trees overhanging a backyard fence. Very productive, but all fruits collected had ripened unevenly creating large spots of extreme astringency. Some fruits may be hard to reach due to thorny bushes.
