🔍 When is it ripe?
Clusters of orange-yellow fruit; ripe when fully orange with no green, yields to gentle pressure, and comes off the stem with a slight tug. Very sweet and aromatic when right — mealy if overripe. Short shelf life after picking.
Various loquat trees planted on the property. I used to here in one of the buildings located on the property and go out and pick some fruit when they were in season. You can always pick some at night there as there is no security guard. Some of the trees are right next to the street.
