🔍 When is it ripe?
Large, yellow to pale orange. Heavy for its size; skin slightly smooth rather than puffy. Can hang on the tree for months once coloured. Taste is the best test — should be sweet-tart, not bitter.
On the corner. Can be accessed from the street but the best is on the garden side. An old tree but doing well. Quite tall so a ladder is good.
On my lawn but I don't like grapefuit.
