🔍 When is it ripe?
Fully black (not red or dark red) and comes off the stem with no resistance — zero pull. Dull rather than shiny; a shiny black berry is still slightly underripe and tart. Eat the same day for best flavour.
A couple of bushes coming down the hill opposite the lake right before you get to the little waterfall next to the suspension bridge.
No one will mind except for the squirrels you are beating out.
