🔍 When is it ripe?
Golden-orange colour all over; red blush is fine but green means unripe. Gives slightly under thumb pressure and separates cleanly from the pit. Sweet, floral aroma. Short window — harvest daily once they start colouring.
Large tree, small fruit. My neighbor is always trying to get rid of them. I'm sure he would be happy to let you take some if you ask.
