🔍 When is it ripe?
Background colour changes from green to yellow or cream (variety determines final colour). Seeds inside should be brown. Flesh yields slightly to thumb pressure. A ripe apple releases with a gentle upward twist — no pulling. Check the ground for natural drops.
I call this the wicked tree. It is one of the best apples I've had, if not the best! And there's two of them! I call it the wicked tree because when the fruits are ripe, they are a beautiful red with bumps, it just looks like it's out of a disney movie. I really love these apples, its sad to see most of them go to waste because most of it is in a state troopers parking lot and it's gated off.
